Supporting our Youth

Thursday, August 24th, 2023

A successful “Back to School” night collaboration to set students and families up for success. Families socialized, had food cooked by excellent chefs, and obtained supplies such as notebooks, calculators, mechanical pencils, and other items to help students in historically disadvantaged situations and socio-economic levels prepare for the new year. All items donated by JCS Ventures, Nexus Wellness Solutions, and Zekkster.

Underserved Communities a Priority

In 2008, with the vision to keep the needs of underserved communities a priority, Ms. Simon founded the Transitions, Mentorship, and Lifeskills Program, (formerly called Transitions for Recovery and Re-Entry Program, Inc.). Through this program, individuals have an opportunity to embrace their potential through building social and teambuilding skills, two irrefutably vital components to reducing criminal activity and breaking the cycle of transgenerational violence.  Current programs have provided potential and possible application to the indigenous community  as  a way of helping them embrace their culture and become empowered in who they are, free of alcohol and drugs and productive members within their society.

Strength in Diversity

From mobile testing sites, food drives, supply drives, and community programming, serving diverse communities and differing backgrounds has always been on the forefront of socail gatherings and networking collaborations.
